About the Role
As a P2P Module Lead at Tierpoint Partners, you’ll act as the subject matter expert for Procure-to-Pay client engagements. This interim, project-based role involves overseeing delivery, advising on transformation, and embedding best-practice P2P solutions. You’ll work closely with our network of finance advisors and interims to deliver measurable operational improvements and value for clients.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary P2P subject matter expert for client engagements.
Oversee project execution, ensuring P2P transformation initiatives are delivered on time.
Advise clients on P2P process optimisation, automation, and AI implementation.
Collaborate with finance teams, interim advisors, and analysts to align execution with strategic objectives.
Identify and mitigate risks, providing practical guidance for complex P2P challenges.
Support client workshops, solution design, and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Contribute to Tierpoint Partners’ independent board, guiding strategic service delivery and capability development.
Contribute actively to Tierpoint Partners marketing content, including thought leadership, podcasts, webinars, and speaker events.
Requirements
5+ years’ experience in P2P consulting, advisory, or transformation roles.
Deep practical experience with end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes in medium or large enterprises.
Hands-on experience implementing P2P optimisation initiatives, including automation and AI.
Strong understanding of ERP systems and finance technology as it relates to P2P.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities across client projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
Nice to Have
Experience as an interim or contractor delivering finance transformation projects.
Knowledge of process intelligence and process mining applied to P2P.
Exposure to multi-country or complex enterprise P2P environments.
Prior experience mentoring or coaching junior finance professionals.
